In these days of increased awareness of giving back among our corporate clients, Pinnacle Events has created volunteer programs in the New Orleans area for all of our clients. Some include, homebuilding for Habitat for Humanity, Wetland Restoration through marsh grass planting, clean up in City Park and various other school and volunteer projects.
Pinnacle Events was established by Beth Mabey and Ginny Westphal; its mission is to work with in-coming meetings, incentive houses, and conventions providing sightseeing tours and special events. However, both Beth and Ginny, long time Louisiana residents, have an affinity for social programs that help restore the “Crescent City” as a premier location to meet and live.
Pinnacle Events has a catalog of service programs from which to select. There are construction projects in Habitat for Humanity’s Musician Village, painting and renovation projects for local schools, landscaping and clean-up needs for local parks as well as historic landmarks, and working with the music departments of area schools to buy much needed instruments. These “jobs” are presented in fun-filled team-building formats that are guaranteed to build morale, entertain the volunteers, and most importantly, help needy individuals, institutions, neighborhoods, and wetlands
